Flashlight Films Shoot Music Video with 'So What Robot'
Flashlight Films recently spent two days shooting footage for what is going to be another spectacular music video for a new Tyneside based band, 'So What Robot'.

The first day was spent on location at an apartment in Gateshead which served as an appropriate set for the storyline for the video. The filming was centred around a young woman in her flat who had some difficulties in settling down to read a book. Over the day Flashlight Films used tracking equipment, resulting in a range of shots that give a particular feel and perspective to this video.
The second day of the shoot took place at the famous Twice Brewed Inn along the Hadrian's Wall where they transformed the dining room into a green screen studio using their portable green screen set up. The filming then focussed on the antics and performance of the band.
So What Robot are a relatively new band but are made out of musicians from two previous successful North East bands, Odd Shaped Head and Indigo Colony. The music video is being made to coincide with the launch of their first single, 'A Girl Who Reads'
The band comprises of four members; Paul Bentley, Jamie Collins, Rob Payne and Pip Coates. More can be found out about the band at www.facebook.com/sowhatrobot or www.myspace.com/sowhatrobot where there is also a link to their soon to become live website.
The video is due to be completed in the next month and will demonstrate a yet another style adding to the growing portfolio of Flashlight Films.
