Hexham to host youth theatre festival
Young actors can take part in a special summer theatre festival.
The event, taking place in Hexham, will be led by professional artists and run a programme of drama, ending with two productions by participants, at the Queen's Hall Arts Centre.
The Northumberland Youth Theatre Festival 2010, is being hosted by the centre in association with the Royal Society of Arts.
Holly Clay, arts development officer for Queen's Hall Arts, said "There is a great history of drama talent from the North East, with the likes of Tim Healy and Robson Green, and we hope that this festival will encourage young people to continue that tradition."
For more information, contact Holly Clay at holly.clay@queenshall.co.uk or visit www.queenshall.co.uk/taking-part.
The festival will run from July 25 to August 7.
