Triathlon talent heading to the Wentworth
The cream of the region's triathlon talent will be put through its paces in Hexham this weekend.
The North East Regional Junior Academy will be selecting athletes to represent the area in the forthcoming 2010 season.
As part of that selection process, a talent identification day will be staged at the Wentworth Leisure Centre in Hexham on Saturday (12.30).
Male and female athletes from the T2, T3, youth and junior age groups will be assessed in running and swimming.
Those aged up to 12 will be tested over a 200m swim and a 1,000m run, 13 to 16-year-olds over a 200m swim and a 1,500m run, and 17-19-year-olds over a 400m swim and a 3,000m run.
