Theatre group arrive in Hexham unmasked
The acclaimed Trestle Theatre Company is bringing its latest production to Hexham's Queen's Hall Arts Centre this month.
The Glass Mountain tells of a Polish baker called Olek who boards a bus to England and finds himself embarking on a much bigger journey than he had expected.
Trestle used to perform in masks but has set this aside now. This is its third unmasked production.
The company is also known for its physical style of performance, which will be in evidence in this new play, which blends a Polish fable with contemporary stories of migration.
See The Glass Mountain in Hexham at 7.30pm on October 30. Tickets from the box office on (01434) 652 477 or online at www.queenshall.com
