Hallowe'en "spooktacular" in Hexham
A hallowe'en fair and laser show are being lined up to scare away the ghosts of recession from one of the region's market towns.
The "spooktacular" will be the first event of its kind in Hexham and organisers are hoping it will attract huge crowds. Lasers costing thousands of pounds will be used to light up the Market Place with images of ghosts and ghouls on Saturday, October 31.
The event, which will see the Market Place sealed off to traffic, runs from 3pm to 9pm.
We'd like to hear from you. Send your stories, pics and videos to northumberland@ncjmedia.co.uk
