Cars vandalised in Hexham
An investigation has been launched by police after 13 cars in Hexham were damaged by vandals.
The damage to the cars happened overnight on August 8 and 9 on Argyle Terrace and Maidens Walk.
West Tynedale Neighbourhood Sergeant Pete Sadler said: "This mindless vandalism appears to have been done by someone when they were walking along the street and damaging the cars parked at the side of the road as they passed them.
"Officers are carrying out enquires and viewing CCTV from the area to see if the incidents were captured on camera. We have increased patrols in the area and are doing all we can to bring the culprits to justice."
