Charity thanks Hexham helpers
A charity is thanking all its volunteers for their hard work.
The National Autistic Society is sending a message to the people who help to run its branches across the North East as part of Volunteers Week.
Its branches include Newcastle and Gateshead and Hexham.
Regional officer Gaynor Dale said: "The people who run our branches manage to organise events, meetings and speakers on top of the pressure they may have at home.
"Even a monthly gathering in which parents and carers swap stories can make a lot of difference and we would like to thank all the people involved in running our branches."
We'd like to hear from you. Send your stories, pics and videos to northumberland@ncjmedia.co.uk
