Hexham company to create new jobs
Affordable housing group Isos is to create 20 new jobs with the expansion of its building services team.
The company, which is part of Milecastle Housing in Hexham, handles repairs for homes in Tynedale and Castle Morpeth. It is expanding its work for housing group NomadE5 and expanding its number of employees from 62 to 82.
The staff will work out of three main depots in Hexham, Morpeth, and a new site on Tyneside. Management and administration of the business will remain based in Hexham.
Keith Loraine, chief executive of Isos Group (pictured back right), said: "Repairs and maintenance services are a high priority for our residents and customers. Milecastle Housing's property services arm is particularly successful and effective and we're keen for all Isos residents to benefit.
"Extending the team by taking it group wide will improve services to all residents, boost cost effectiveness and create further cohesion across the Isos Group.
"Also, a single in-house service provider for repairs will enable greater flexibility to suit the needs of our residents, such as the availability of appointments in the evenings or at weekends."
