Affordable housing group Isos is to create 20 new jobs with the expansion of its building services team.
The company, which is part of Milecastle Housing in Hexham, handles repairs for homes in Tynedale and Castle Morpeth. It is expanding its work for housing group NomadE5 and expanding its number of employees from 62 to 82.
The staff will work out of three main depots in Hexham, Morpeth, and a new site on Tyneside. Management and administration of the business will remain based in Hexham.

In the latest poll on the Your Place community websites, the Farnes got 27% of the votes, ahead of Lindisfarne (22%) and the Cheviots (17%).
Votes also went to Bolam Lakes, Crag Lough, Allen Banks, Druridge Bay and Kielder Water.
Tynedale entertain league leaders Redruth in Corbridge, aware of their kingmaker status.

A photographic group in Northumberland is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special exhibition in its home town.
The Hexham Photographic Group - formed in 1989 - is holding a water- themed exhibition that fills all three galleries at the town's Queen's Hall.
