Two new traffic regulations have been agreed for Hexham.
Northumberland County Council is to introduce No Waiting and Prohibition of Driving Except for Access to Off-Street Premises orders at Garden Terrace and Eilansgate after councillors were told yesterday that office workers and visitors are causing problems for through traffic and pedestrians by parking in the area to avoid town centre charges.
The council is also introducing a Prohibition of Driving Except for Access to Off-Street Premises order at Broadgates and Vine Terrace.
