Celtic band heading to Hexham

Posted by The Journal on Jan 6, 09 12:07 PM in What’s On

Celtic band Dervish are whirling into Tynedale later this month.

By the time the band plays at Queen's Hall, in Hexham, on January 27, it will have already taken part in Celtic Connections, in Glasgow, Britain's biggest Celtic music festival. They will jet off to America shortly afterwards.

The group brought 2008 to a close with six dates in Japan and a string of performances as guests of the Celtic Tenors in Ireland.
