Milestone for reborn Wentworth Leisure Centre
A Hexham leisure centre has welcomed its 100,000th customer since its refurbishment.

The Wentworth Leisure Centre reopened in August following extensive developments, including the creation of a new swimming pool.
Local people and visitors have flocked to the centre since.
Andy Bewick, assistant manager at Wentworth, said: "It has been great to see so many new and existing customers coming to the centre.
"We're really proud of the standard and range of facilities we have on offer and to have welcomed over 100,000 customers in such a short time is tremendous.
"It really is testimony to all the effort and dedication of the team here at Wentworth."
Wendy Howe from Hexham was the 100,000th customer to visit the centre and has won three months' free membership, which gives her unlimited access to the facilities at both Wentworth and Prudhoe Waterworld.
Wendy, currently a swim member, said: "I'm delighted to win the three months' free membership, especially as I was in the process of upgrading my membership to include both swimming and fitness.
"The facilities here at Wentworth are superb and I'm looking forward to making full use of my prize."
