Theatre tour comes to Whitley Chapel, Newbrough and Slaley
The Northumberland Theatre Company will be bringing its latest production to Whitley Chapel, Newbrough and Slaley to as part of a big national tour.
Straw Headed Peter by award winning writer Mike Kenny is a re-telling of classic cautionary tales written Dr Heinrigh Hoffman more than 150 years ago. It features a talented cast including Stephanie Butler, Nigel Collins and Philip Oakland.
It premieres at Alnwick Playhouse on November 29 before going to Kielder First School on December 8, St James Parish Hall in Morpeth on December 9, Slaley Commemoration Hall on December 11 and Whitley Chapel Parish Hall on December 12.
There will also be performances in Snods Edge, Pegswood, Heddon-on-the-Wall, Capheaton, Glanton, Newbiggin, Longhirst, West Woodburn, Wark and Newbrough later in December and into January.
