Hexham dates on artists' tour
Artists in the Hexham area will be opening their studios to the public as part of the Christmas Art Tour 2008.
The Tour takes place in 20 studios between November 14 and December 15 and includes painters, potters, ceramicists, jewellery makers, photographers and craft makers.

Landscape photographer David Taylor will have a session at Hexham's Moot Hall from December 9 to 14, while painter Richard Walker will be at Hexham Abbey on November 22 and 23.
Other artists include landscape painter Walter Holmes at Heddon Women's Institute and wildlife painter Mary Ann Rogers welcoming visitors to her home near West Woodburn.
Seascape artist Sarah Riseborough will be holding open house at her Belford studio, and ceramicist Steph Jamieson will be doing the same at a former dairy at Allendale. In nearby Catton, Jos Mahon will be opening up her studio to show work from her recent travels, while Carol Nunan and Rebecca Vincent will throw open the doors of their converted 17th century manse in Horsley.
Other artists taking part this Christmas include Mick Oxley at Craster, Karen Willis in Morpeth and Pam Vardy in Shilbottle.
