Opening day victories for Hexham youngsters
Hexham under nines did their new manager Jamie McNamee proud winning their first game of the season 3-0.
Their clash against Throckley Magpies in the Tynedale League was an outstanding team display, with goals scored by Elliot Jeffries (2) and Johnathan Carter.
Hexham were also well served by keeper Richard van der Brooks.
In the NABC Leagues Hexham under 16s won 6-0 away to Newbiggin in a good all-round team display. Hexham's goals came from Keady (2) Potts, Harvey, Tweedle, and Humble.
At under 11 level Hexham were away to Ashington. Duncan fired in a brace along with Lowes, while Renton, Whale, Fairless and Kennedy all netted in the 8-0 victory. Hexham's solid duo of Lamb and Charteries also bossed midfield, causing Ashington no end of problems.
Away from the cut and thrust of the league, the u15s were in action in the West Division Cup, against Walbottle.
Hexham ran out 4-0 winners, with goals from Loughhead (2), Field and French. Loughead was unlucky not to claim a hat-trick when a tremendous came back off the post.
